Browser Support

Our sites are designed to work in all of the major browsers, running on any operating system. Many sites announce to their visitors that they have been optimised for a particular browser, normally Internet Explorer, thus alienating the growing number of people who are using other software. This simply is not good enough for your business or for us. Our sites are checked using the W3C's HTML and CSS validation services to ensure compliance.

Athelnet's sites are designed to be HTML4 compliant according to the standards set out by the W3C, but we also ensure that our sites work in Netscape 4 and I.E. 4-5. Although these browsers have been obsolete for some time, we take the view that if someone is using it, we should try to support it.

"Now death is the portion of doomed men,
Red with blood the buildings of gods,
The sun turns black in the summer after,
Winds whine. Well, would know more?"
